چکیده

Alfalfa is a perennial herbaceous forage legume that remarkably and negatively affected by monocropping. However, the contribution of changes in bacterial communities to soil sickness alfalfa have not been elucidated. Therefore, we investigated community structures response monocropped along chronosequence. Continuous cropping reduced alpha diversity altered structures, pH, total P available were strongly associated with structures. Intriguingly, 10 years might be demarcation point separating into two obvious groups containing samples collected less more than years. The relative abundances copiotrophic bacteria Actinobacteria Gammaproteobacteria significantly increased extension continuous years, while oligotrophic Armatimonadetes, Chloroflexi, Firmicutes Gemmatimonadetes showed opposite changing patterns. Among those phyla, Actinobacteria, Alphaproteobacteria Acidobacteria most important which contributed 50.86% variations. Additionally, nitrogen fixation Bradyrhizobium Mesorhizobium obviously Arthrobacter, Bacillus, Burkholderiaceae Microbacterium potential functions solubilizing phosphorus potassium decreased after long-term cropping. Furthermore, cooccurrence patterns influenced simplifying complexity networks. These findings enhanced our understandings provided references for forecasting how responds alfalfa.

Abstract Withholding alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) irri-

Withholding alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) irrigations during the summer, a practice referred to as summer irrigation termination (SIT), can conserve substantial amounts of water in long-season desert environments; however, plant mortality associated with SIT may be substantial. Proper timing of re-irrigation is critical for minimizing mortality and yield reductions following SIT. Procedures that...

Detection of Norspermidine and Norspermine in Medicago sativa L. (Alfalfa).

Shoot meristem tissues of alfalfa, Medicago sativa L., were found by high performance liquid chromatography analyses to contain the uncommon polyamines, norspermidine and norspermine. The chemical structures of norspermidine and norspermine, purified from alfalfa, were confirmed by comparison of mass spectra with those from authentic standards. The discovery of norspermidine and norspermine in ...

Beta-Amylases from Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) Roots.

Amylase was found in high activity (193 international units per milligram protein) in the tap root of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L. cv. Sonora). The activity was separated by gel filtration chromatography into two fractions with molecular weights of 65,700 (heavy amylase) and 41,700 (light amylase). Activity staining of electrophoretic gels indicated the presence of one isozyme in the heavy amyla...
